Refund Policy

Summary: Full refund within 14 days of payment if your batch hasn't started. Partial refund within the first 4 weeks of the programme. No refunds after week 4. The UK tour portion is non-refundable once travel is booked.

1. Overview

The HelloJunior programme costs $2,499 USD (one-time payment) per student per course stream. This fee covers the full ~100-week curriculum and a UK educational tour. We want you to be confident in your decision, so we offer a fair and transparent refund policy.

2. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your enrolment within 14 days of making your payment for a full refund, provided:

  • Your batch has not yet started.
  • You have not accessed any course materials.

If your batch has already started within the 14-day period, a pro-rata deduction may apply for any sessions already attended.

3. Refund After Programme Starts

3.1 Weeks 1–4 (Grace period)

If you decide the programme is not right for you within the first 4 weeks of your batch starting, you may request a partial refund:

  • 75% refund if requested during Week 1 or 2.
  • 50% refund if requested during Week 3 or 4.

3.2 After Week 4

No refunds are available after the 4th week of the programme. By this point, you will have received substantial course content, resources, and access to the community platform.

4. UK Tour Refund

  • If the UK tour has not yet been booked at the time of your cancellation, the tour portion will be fully refunded as part of your overall refund.
  • If travel, accommodation, or activities have already been booked, the tour portion ($600 USD) is non-refundable due to third-party booking commitments.
  • If HelloJunior cancels the tour for any reason, you will receive a full refund of the tour portion or the option to join a rescheduled tour.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at contact@hellojunior.uk with the following:

  • Your full name and the enrolled student's name.
  • The email address used during registration.
  • Your batch and course stream.
  • The reason for your refund request.

We aim to process all refund requests within 7–10 business days. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.

6. Exceptions

We may offer refunds or credits outside of the standard policy in the following circumstances:

  • Medical emergencies: Supported by a doctor's note, we may offer a partial refund or transfer to a future batch.
  • Extenuating circumstances: Reviewed on a case-by-case basis (e.g., family emergency, relocation).
  • HelloJunior cancellation: If we cancel a batch or course stream, you will receive a full refund or the option to join a future batch.

7. Transfers

Instead of a refund, you may request to:

  • Switch course streams (e.g., from AI to Game Dev) — free of charge, if requested before Week 8.
  • Defer to a future batch — available once per enrolment, subject to availability.
  • Transfer your spot to another eligible student — subject to approval and must be requested before Week 4.

8. Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may result in suspension of your account. We are committed to resolving any issues fairly and promptly.
